PDGF+: Platelet Derived Growth Factor

PDGF Growth Factor Therapy at Manna Life

Rooted in Science. Designed for Skin Regeneration

At Manna Life, we’re proud to offer pharmaceutical-grade PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor) therapy, an advanced solution that can potentially help stimulate skin repair, promote collagen production, and accelerate healing AFTER microneedling, PRF, laser treatments, or other skin procedures.
Unlike traditional PRP or PRF treatments that rely on blood draws and can vary from person to person, our recombinant PDGF offers a pure, sterile, lab-engineered formula that delivers consistent, high-concentration growth factors without the mess, variability, or downtime.

Why Choose PDGF Therapy at Manna Life?

• Pure: Our PDGF serum is created using recombinant technology, not blood, so it’s free from human or animal components. This ensures a clean, controlled, and sterile product every time.
• Potent: Each application delivers powerful growth factors directly to the skin, helping to boost collagen, hydrate tissue, and accelerate post-procedure healing.
• Predictable: Unlike PRP/PRF, which can vary depending on your health or hydration, PDGF offers consistent, evidence-backed results for every patient.
• Proven: Backed by over 15 years of research and 5 million+ patient applications, recombinant PDGF is trusted in regenerative medicine and aesthetics worldwide.

How It Works: Applied following microneedling or other collagen-stimulating treatments, PDGF works by signaling your skin cells to repair, rebuild, and renew. The addition of hyaluronic acid in the formulation draws moisture into the skin, enhancing elasticity and glow while reducing inflammation and recovery time.

PDGF vs. PRP/PRF – What’s the Difference?

At Manna Life, we offer both PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) and PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor) to support skin and hair rejuvenation, but they work in very different ways.
PRF is a natural, injectable treatment made from your own blood. It contains a rich mix of platelets, fibrin, and growth factors that promote healing and collagen production. Because it’s made from your body, results can vary depending on your hydration, nutrition, and overall health.
PDGF, on the other hand, is a pharmaceutical-grade, lab-formulated growth factor created through recombinant technology. It offers a potent, sterile, and consistent dose of regenerative signals without needing a blood draw. PDGF is ideal for enhancing results after microneedling, PRF, or laser treatments, especially for patients seeking faster healing and predictable outcomes.
Both are powerful tools in regenerative aesthetics! We can help you decide which is right for your goals and skin health.

What to Expect:

• Enhanced post-treatment healing
• Reduced redness and irritation
• Firmer, smoother skin texture
• Visible improvement in tone, elasticity, and collagen density
• No blood draw or downtime

Is PDGF Right for You?

• If you’re seeking targeted rejuvenation, faster healing, and an evidence-based skincare solution—especially after microneedling, PRF, or facial procedures, PDGF is an excellent option. It’s especially effective for patients with impaired healing, poor PRF yield, or needle aversion but most specifically, it is a POWERHOUSE treatment that we use to regenerate the skin, scalp and can even help to potentially stimulate hair growth when applied post microneedling! (REQUIRES a consult with our medical provider to ensure eligibility. It is important to note that PDGF is not approved for injection and should NOT be injected. Manna Life uses PDGF for post treatment healing and support only).

Neurotoxins - $10 per unit

Neurotoxins, specifically botulinum toxin (there are many variations including Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Juvederm and Daxxify) can be used for aesthetic purposes to temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face or for other therapeutic uses such as chronic migraines, excessive sweating, pore reduction, facial slimming and muscle spasms.

Neurotoxins work by blocking the signals the nerves send to the muscles, resulting in temporary muscle paralysis. This effect can relax the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles and fine lines, such as those on the forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and between the eyebrows (frown lines).

By injecting a neurotoxin into these targeted muscles, the muscles are temporarily weakened, which smooths out the overlying skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The effects typically last for several months, after which the muscles gradually regain their normal function, and the wrinkles and fine lines may slowly return.

In addition to its cosmetic uses, neurotoxins are also used for medical purposes (therapeutic neurotoxin) in treating chronic migraines, excessive sweating, facial slimming and muscle spasms. However, as with any medical procedure, it is essential to consult a qualified healthcare provider before undergoing any neurotoxin treatment to determine if it is safe and appropriate – and that is where Manna Life can help!

Chemical Peels - VI PEEL Face and Neck $350; VI PEEL Body $375

Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments that involve applying a chemical solution to the skin to exfoliate and rejuvenate its appearance. These peels are used to improve various skin concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne scars, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation.

The chemical solution used in a peel causes the outermost layer of the skin to peel off, revealing a smoother, healthier-looking layer beneath. The depth and strength of the peel depend on the specific needs and desired results of the individual.

There are different types of chemical peels, categorized based on the depth of penetration into the skin:

Superficial or light peels: These peels primarily target the outermost layer of the skin (epidermis). They typically use mild acids, such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) like glycolic acid or lactic acid. Superficial peels are generally used to improve skin texture, tone, and mild discoloration.

Medium peels: These peels penetrate deeper into the skin, reaching the middle layer (dermis). They often utilize trichloroacetic acid (TCA) or a combination of TCA and other acids. Medium peels are effective for addressing wrinkles, acne scars, and more pronounced pigmentation issues.

Deep peels: Deep peels reach the deeper layers of the skin, including the lower dermis. Phenol is commonly used for deep peels. These peels are the most aggressive and require longer recovery time. They are usually reserved for treating severe wrinkles, extensive sun damage, and deep scars.

The procedure involves cleansing the skin, applying the chemical solution, and allowing it to work for a specific period. Afterward, the solution is neutralized or washed off, and the skin may temporarily appear red, irritated, or flaky.  It’s important to note that chemical peels may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with certain skin conditions, such as active infections, open wounds, or a history of keloid scars. Consult with a Manna Life professional to determine if a chemical peel is appropriate for your skin concerns and to discuss potential risks and benefits.

PDO Threads - Price varies - Consultation required

PDO threads, also known as Polydioxanone threads, are a type of cosmetic treatment used for non-surgical facelifts and skin rejuvenation. PDO stands for Polydioxanone, which is a biodegradable synthetic polymer commonly used in medical sutures.

PDO threads are fine, absorbable threads that are inserted into the skin to lift and tighten sagging or loose tissues. They work by stimulating collagen production and providing mechanical support to the skin. The threads are placed strategically in the subcutaneous tissue, and once inserted, they create a supportive structure that lifts and tightens the skin!

We start with a full face consultation, during which our skilled aesthetics staff assesses you and gives you thorough information so you can decide if this is the best course of action for you. Once you’ve made your choice, we develop a treatment strategy that is especially suited to your requirements.

Procedure:  You will be given a local anesthetic before the procedure. The lifting process will then be started by carefully placing the PDO threads under the skin with sutures. In addition, to relax the muscles and smooth the skin, our injection specialist will provide a series of neurotoxic injections in the treated area. The treatment takes about 45 minutes, but depending on the area being treated, you may be required to schedule two appointments.

Following treatments, a care plan will be issued to you in order to improve your recovery. Initial redness and discomfort are possible. For a few days after your treatment, you’ll need to be cautious not to apply pressure to the treated region or wash it too aggressively.

What Happens After a PDO Thread Neck Lift?

You’ll see some improvement soon after treatment because the PDO threads are used to produce lift and definition. Over the following few days, the threads work together to smooth the skin. You’ll notice more improvements in the weeks following the procedure because it also stimulates the synthesis of collagen.

Even though a thread lift does not offer as much “lift” as surgery, it can still be very effective, especially when used to target specific treatment areas.

For best results, a non-surgical PDO Thread Neck Lift may be combined with additional procedures. For instance, the lift therapy doesn’t address aging-related pigmentation, thus other procedures can enhance its benefits. We can incorporate additional therapies into your unique approach.

BONUS!  Threads can be used in many places – not just your face!  Sagging skin on your abdomen?  THREADS!  Sagging skin around your knees or arms – THREADS!

Platelet Rich Fibrin(PRF)/Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) - Microneeding $450; PRF injection as a filler $550

Injection Platelet Rich Fibrin(PRF) which is the next generation of PRP/Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).  Both are an all-natural, safer treatment option, also known as stem cell therapy, that uses the body’s own plasma and platelets to assist and stimulate healing/recovering tissue and cellular growth.

Uses:  PRF is a natural option that can be used to improve skin quality, texture, and appearance.  PRF/PRP can also be injected into the scalp to support hair regrowth and can be used as a natural filler!  Manna Life has been trained through the leading EXPERT in the industry Dr. Rajani!

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma, while PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin. Both PRP and PRF are autologous (derived from a patient’s own blood) preparations that contain a high concentration of platelets and growth factors, which can stimulate tissue healing and regeneration.

The main difference between PRP and PRF lies in their composition and preparation methods. PRP is a blood plasma product that is prepared by centrifuging a patient’s blood to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other components. PRP contains a higher concentration of platelets than whole blood, but it also contains other blood components such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and fibrinogen.

In contrast, PRF is a fibrin matrix enriched with platelets and leukocytes (white blood cells) that is prepared using a more advanced centrifugation method.  PRF preparation creates a fibrin scaffold that clots the into fibrin allowing for a much slower release of growth factor and cytokines – this results in more growth factors that can be kept more viable for a much longer time-period.  During the preparation of PRF, a second centrifugation step is added to further concentrate the platelets and to generate a fibrin clot, which serves as a scaffold for cell migration and tissue repair.

PRF has been shown to provide more clinically significant improvements in skin because of the preparation that preserve the rich growth factors and precious healing cells with 10 times the platelet concentration of PRP!  Bonus is that PRF is 100% natural!  There is no anticoagulant used in the preparation!
